Choices
Today was one of those days! Nothing went right, nothing went wrong. Yet, conversations were not flowing and heart issues were not being solved. So the next best thing to do? A cup of coffee and a coca cola, it helps make things better!

We finally got to celebrate our heritage (Irish) and my brother would have been proud. Shelby decorated and made the meal! It was another grand family moments thanks to her!

Cooking
It has been a journey for this little mother's helper. We are discovering we need to watch what foods we eat and how much we are eating of others. Eventually we will be going through testing, but for now, it is the battle of her finding food she will eat.
Over Christmas Break she made us breakfast one morning. See the coffee pot already going in the background? That is the most important thing and then she started the eggs. It meant a lot that she would make us breakfast. You see, Shelby does not like the feel of eggs, or the texture of them when you eat them. So this was out of her comfort zone.
I love the hair bun (we call it our home school hair-do). I also love the apron, something she learned from my mom. Shelby loves aprons and has a few of them. She likes the way she looks in them!! Go Shelby!

It Does Happen
Every so often school falls into place and a routine is found for a day! When I am home, it is so much easier to find the routine, but so much of our time is spent at NC and with that school goes to the back burner....but there is a day when it does happen......and on this day we had someone special join us!!
I love these kids!
